We use large slabs of wood with impressive shapes and textures, highlighting the natural and authentic character of each piece. We strive to interfere as little as possible with the natural form of the wood, preserving knots, open cracks, and raw edges to maintain its authenticity.

Each piece is handcrafted, combining the mastery of traditional techniques with the precision of modern ones. We exclusively use solid wood, avoiding prefabricated materials.

The name TRWOO (sounds like ‘true’ ) comes from a wordplay inspired by “True Wood,” conveying the idea of authentic wood. Our concept not only reflects the use of natural wood but also our commitment to keeping its appearance genuine, without excessive refinement. In the conventional industry, wood is often fragmented and reassembled to eliminate imperfections. However, at TRWOO, we maintain the wood’s natural form, just as nature provides it.

Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic concept of “wabi-sabi,” our furniture embraces the beauty of imperfection and the natural authenticity of wood. Our design is timeless because nature does not follow fashion trends.

With over 30 years of experience in the wood industry, we have learned where and how to find the most spectacular wood pieces. We have acquired materials for hundreds of dining tables made from single wood slabs and continue to select exceptional walnut, oak, burl poplar, olive, and other species of wood. We professionally prepare the wood, allowing it to airdrying naturally for 1-2 years before placing it in controlled atmosphere kilns. Thanks to our generous stock of raw materials, we can meet almost any request for special orders.
